"A true pilgrimage lifts the traveler out of his everyday self into a realm beyond ego. When it returns his self back to him, all of life has become a single, endless pilgrimage."
-Kerry Moran, The Sacred Mountain of Tibet

On July 21, 2004, we arrived in Beijing, China to start our trip across China and Tibet.

We visited some of the most sacred Buddhist sites of Tibet including WuTaiShan, Je Kumbum, Lhasa, Olka Cholung, Tsari, Lapchi, Mt. Kailash.

By December 2004 we returned to Darjeeling, India.

To find out more about our travel route and some of the places that we went click on Maps from the menu above.

leaving Darjeeling, India

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

-Bilbo Baggins
