With the good weather there were many trekker on top of the Kala Patar view point 18,200 feet (5400m).

Even up at 18,200 feet (5400m) there was still some wild life.

Prayer flags are left by the Sherpas at the tops of peaks and passes as offerings.

After the long climb up to the Kala Patar view point it was a long walk back to the lodge.

We spent the rest of the day following the trail alone side the Kumbu glacier.
