Once we reached Lukla, is was a long wait to get a flight. Fog had caused all of the planes to be delayed many hours.

With the clouds just a couple hundred feet above the runway we were able to take off.

We all made it back to Kathmandu safe and sound, just a bit dirtier. The much talked about "hot-shower" was a welcome treat at the end of the trip.
